Páginas Amarelas Portugal has announced the appointment of João Souto as its new CEO. Having been with the company since 2006, João Souto brings over 25 years of expertise in Strategy, Business Development, and Management. Throughout his career at Páginas Amarelas Portugal, he has held key positions such as Commercial Director in Porto and Lisbon, Business Unit Manager, and Chief Revenue Officer.
He succeeds António Alegre, who led the company’s digital transformation and now assumes the role of Chairman of the Board. João Souto is eager to lead Páginas Amarelas Portugal at a time when digitalization is crucial for SMBs. His vision is to build on the company’s strong foundation and drive it toward greater agility, efficiency, and profitability in an evolving digital market.
